Here are some from the Christmas break we spent up at the Millers. We all went shooting Christmas day as the food simmered. Well...minus Katie, Debbi and Deanne because they are the ones that simmered the food.

Lori was supporting the cause by handing us our refills of shells and eating Swedish Fish.

Nice stance Nate!

Learning how to put the shells in without pinching my finger.

Cute Ben. He loved showing everyone up. Although I'm pretty sure everyone can attest that I gave him a run for his money!

It was fun watching the boys play around and have some friendly competition.

Dave was our 'puller'. They had pigeons and rabbits to shoot at. Don't worry not real ones! I had never seen the rabbit ones before. They role on the ground and are pretty bouncy. I think they are a little more hard to shoot at.

It was pretty cold and windy!

I wish we could have family get-togethers like this more often. It was fun to shoot and fun to watch the boys show off!

I have so many pictures of "Going Shooting". If I didn't keep them organized I wouldn't know what year they were taken. It is definitely something the Millers love to do. When Nate was on his mission we each held up a letter of Merry Christmas while we were out shooting. Hope he wasn't too homesick. Your lucky your good!
Man, I look really grumpy in that picture. I really wasn't. What could be better than eating swedish red fish and staring at nate's behind as he shoots a gun. Seeing these fun pics though makes us miss you guys!
I agree Lori, I think it was just sunny and you weren't ready for the picture. But yeah we miss everyone! We will soon be the only Miller kids left in AZ!
shooting outings can be fun. especially with friendly competition. wait... competition and guns... may-be not that good of an idea.
So ....wait Caitlin, am I right in saying that you and Ben were not married yet in these pics? So ..he was still trying to impress? And you were still trying to look cute in any situation? ha...ha.
I remember when daddy took me to a lake in Dallas and brought a gun and was showing me how to use it etc. I remember very well that my aim impressed him. If I'm remembering correctly I hit a frog from quite a distance....since it didn't move he thought that I missed it. But, actually I shot it clean through and it didn't know what hit him.
Mom
This makes me sad I had to stay with my kiddies. It is so much fun when all the boys get together.
Hey when can we see you guys? In fact we'll be in Tempe on Saturday and want to drop Ben's stuff off. I'll call ya!
Okay, so "The Miller's" and "friendly competition" have yet to occur at the same time, as far as I recall.
And yes, Lori looks totally enraged.
Oh, if only you knew then what you were getting yourself into...just kidding.
Miss you two!
i'm so happy for you that you are doing so well and got what you really wanted :)
