Bittersweet Arizona Trip

As everyone knows I'm a big cry baby when it comes to family. Especially nieces and nephews. I often ask myself if I will love my own children as much as I love them. It sounds terrible I know.

Anyhoo, I went to Arizona back in May for my first nephew's (on my side) blessing. His name is
Heber Jared Wright. It was great meeting him for the first time. Ben couldn't come because of school and of course the first thing Chloe said when she saw me in the airport after "Kay Kay!" was "Where Bin?" (she sounds like she's saying Bin instead of Ben, so cute)

This was the mood in the car on the way back from the airport. Chloe - still not sure what's going on. Shouldn't I have that tall cute guy with me? Emma - wanted to talk to Ben so she's talking to him on the phone. Sadee - posing and keeping it chill. She is into saying "dude".

This is Heber. I feel like he was so big when I first met him, thanks to Sarah for waiting till I could come for the blessing. He is such a little handsome boy. His nickname is Bear.

This little blonde girl got quite attached to me as I did to her. The first morning I woke up was so fun because we were all giggling and remembering all the fun we have together.

We had to make a trip the Chandler Mall for some shopping so of course we stopped at the play area. Emma was in school that day so we had Sadee, Chloe and Heber. I still can't believe how big and grown up they are.

Chloe soon found out that its really fun to go down the slide on your stomach. There was a little boy that had already pushed this other girl off a climby thing and made her cry. I already am a protective aunt but I immediately went into survival-mode waiting for this kid to touch Chloe. Sadee I'm not too worried about.

Cute sisters.

Another highlight of trip was my cousin's wedding. She was one of my play-mates when I would visit AZ as a child from TX. She looked beautiful but I guess I was too busy taking pictures of my nieces to get one of her!

Once again I can't believe how much they have all grown up from January to May. Having little personalities, drinking out of big-girl cups and losing baby teeth.

This little one, Jillian, was just warming up to Ben and I before we moved. She was still unsure about how to feel when she hugged me but soon became my buddy all over again.

Camille the monkey still was not sure who I was. She has been walking and saying cute little things since the last time I saw her.

And to put the cherry on top, I got to see my best friend Jayme. What a trip! Of course I loved seeing you adults too. Hopefully next time Chloe won't have to ask "Where Bin?"

The woman in that last picture looks a lot like my cousin Brittney.

You do have some cute nieces. That is funny that they all missed Bin.

Hello Cait,
I finally have our computer at home hooked up. Cox stuck it to us again. WEll, I love the pics and blog. I want MOOOOORE....You should see me right now ...I am surrounded by all of our stuff from the storage unit. Yeah....no more stuff in the storage unit! However, it is everywhere...I'm confused ....where to begin? Well, maybe I'll be like Millie on 7 Bs for 7 Bs and roll up my sleeves and just dig in. "Music is playing and fade out and back in to clean house" Now I can dance!
