Fine all you stalkers and desperate readers... I will update our blog! Here are some things that have been going on lately..
1. Ben is still doing great in school. He got a 92 on his last Psychology test! Aw I'm so proud of my little grasshoppa. He is getting to be BFF with his motorcycle again since I am working now. Speaking of which... I still love my job! I love having a set schedule now and actually being tired at the end of the day feels good. I get to work at 9 and leave around 5. My duties range from ordering office supplies to dictating letters for the owner to getting him coffee to making ads for local events or newspapers. The other day Dr. Mintz (owner and whom I directly assist) asked me to call up Burberry and return his damaged tie or get him a new one. I was like, "ummmmm is that like 1-800-Burberry or....." He is such a nice man but does like his nice things to be in tip-top shape. It still never ceases to amaze me at how much money office supplies cost. The other day I had to order a desk and two chairs for new employees amongst other office things and I'm thinking to myself, "Am I supposed to be spending this much of their money?" Don't worry I get everything approved before I make the orders. You won't see me on the news for siphoning my company's money into an offshore account.
2. So a little while ago Ben and I along with Nate and Lori had a date night and decided to have some fun with the camera. We took pictures of each other shaking our head. It was my dumb idea but it was really funny in the process. We made Paisley join in the fun too...
3. In other news, we started playing in a soccer league. It consists of people at Nate's school. The people on our team are also in our ward and the neighboring ward. We have only actually played two games and been rained out the other two. Ben is goalie, Nate is striker/mid-field/sweeper, I am mid-field/striker and Lori is photographer. My whole soccer career has been mostly defense but so it was kind of fun to be up front. My only down-fall is that I forget to stay on-sides because I never had to worry about that being on defense. Luckily being striker paid off because I scored in the first game! It was double-y cool because when girls score its two points.
On a depressing note, our second game consisted of me taking a close range ball to the face and it knocking me off my feet straight to my back. My sweet husband kept his cool and stayed in goal and didn't get himself kicked out for defending my honor. How sweet, huh?! NOT! I asked him why he didn't come out and pummel the guy and he said, "because I knew you were going to get up and be fine." Just because I can take it doesn't mean I don't want you to get all husband-y and do your duty of protectiveness. I'm not gunna lie it did hurt. All is well now because I forgave Ben and my face maintained its shape and tenacity. Here are some pictures of our first game...
Lori is great at catching these motion shots.
Ben is going to try out to be Lord of the Dance with the traveling clogging group.

You took that ball to the face like a champ. Bravo.
In my defense, I was completely sick in that picture. I'm thinking that the hilariousness of it all is one of those "you just had to be there" type of moments.
I'm glad that you included a picture Caitlin. You will tahnk me someday.
I think I peed my pants reading this post. Caitlin I love you and your fabulous ideas. I'm glad you were all brave enough to share. And Lori my Dad has a picture that can out match any, the one of me after I had Ryley. I'm sure you've seen it and I wasn't shaking my head!
I'm glad the soccer lives on, it's looking more and more likely that we'll be headed East come August.
Oh, and thanks for updating.
Wow, this post made me laugh. Those head-shaking pictures are amazing! I'm going to have to try that.
Katie, are you really going out East? Fun!
If you're feeling down about your shaky face pictures, go to youtube and search for slow motion sneezes... i was disgusted and laughing all at the same time.
OMGosh, I laughed so hard. But not at the shakeyface pics. I laughed at Lord of the dance ...because I was thinking it before I read what Caitlin wrote. Ben is so graceful. And Lori......thank you ....thank you for taking pictures. Else, how could Caitlin blog? I needed a good laugh this a.m. because we are packing boxes and watching the days click by...hoping that we have a place to move when this one is occupied by new tenants.
Love to all.
ok, love the pictures of shaking the heads. That is so funny, who came up with that idea? I would have never thought of that.
I got a kick out of the clogging comment. I was curious to see how the job was going. I'm glad all is positive. Cute shaking faces by the way!
Remember that game in Gilbert when that super douche pushed me to the ground and was like "how you like me now?". Caleb swears he tried to defend me but the only thing I remember is you getting in his face and saying "oh yeah, you're a real tough guy. You can push down a girl. Does that make you feel big?" I thought you were going to kick his arse. Anyways, your date nights are the best. Caleb would like that idea because it would make me look like an idiot and it's free!
I found your blog!!! lol LOVED this post! The head-shaking pics are hilarious!
