Happy Veterans Day

I would like to thank all those who have served our country here and over seas - especially to Grandpa Taylor and Grandpa Crane who are no longer with us. I would also like to thank Ben for having the determination and mind-set to serve his country over seas in Iraq and Korea. It brings a lump to my throat when I think about what he has gone through. He is the most self-less person I know. I think Heavenly Father planned it right when he had us meet after Ben got home from Iraq because I don't think I would have handled that very well. His stories are amazing and he never shirks at the opportunity to answer questions that people may have about his experience. Although some memories may not elicit such 'happy' thoughts as veterans think back to what they've gone through - I know that Ben would never take back what he's learned and the comrades he knew. So, thank you Ben! Many people love you and admire you for your service.

I too was thinking about Ben and wanted to call but of course don't have his number in my phone and Nate is on his way to AZ. I'm glad that those crazy years are over and that I finally got to know Ben really well...and now Caitlin. We think you guys are amazing and wish that we could hang out with you more. I'm sure we'll see you this weekend!!!!!

I can't believe that you noticed the trash in that picture. Good eye! Nate was supposed to take it out but he went to his football game and forgot. I got to give him credit though, he did vacumn and wrap the group gift.
